Saturday night was movie night at John's, in which he showed Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains and The Legend of Billie Jean. Sadly, due to the heat and my general tiredness, I ended up falling asleep during The Legend of Billie Jean.
Anyway, here's a young Diane Lane playing the part of Corinne Burns.

And now for something completely different. So, I finally took a shot at a Meme and this could get addictive. Totally fun to do. Hope you enjoy.
1. Favorite movie? Casablanca
2. Favorite movie genre? These questions are hard! I guess I am going with animation (Disney/Disney | Pixar), because they also tend to be funny and I love a good comedy.
3. Favorite actor? Jimmy Stewart, so many iconic films, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Harvey, It?s a Wonderful Life, The Glen Miller Story?c?mon. And he was a good man.
4. Favorite actress? Diane Lane, she?s just perfect. I could also put her down there in #11?*swoon* *yum*
5. What movie always makes you cry? Kramer vs. Kramer. Every, stupid, time I see it. Why do I watch this frickin? movie?!
6. What movie have you watched over & over & over? OMG, where do I start??? I guess I?ll just go with the first movie I saw more than 6 or 12 times in the theater, Star Wars (A New Hope). I was almost 8 when that hit theaters in 77? and I saw it at least 12 times. Then it came to VHS and then DVD?.
7. Worst move you ever saw? Again where do I start? Ummm?Cry Baby bites it hard (I know the ladies will disagree). She Devil was awful. Coyote ugly was terrible, but I could also put that up in #6 ;). Of all the bad movies I?ve seen, I think I have to go with Blown Away. Jeff Bridges just murders the Boston accent.
8. What was the last movie you watched? No Country for Old Men. And I need to see it again, as I know I missed important stuff. Oh and I got to use a photo by Christine here! Yay!
9. Favorite cult movie? The Big Lebowski. That rug really tied the room together.
10. Most embarrassing favorite movie? The afore mentioned Coyote Ugly. I am so happy I this was my answer. It was fun looking for the pic I used =). I have to stop and watch that train wreck every time it?s on the Lifetime Network. I also kinda like Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando in Guys and Dolls too?.the tunes are catchy!
11. Hottest actor or actress? Kate Beckinsale *swoon* *yum*
12. The actor or actress most people say you remind them of? I get Hugh Jackman and John Cusack. I get more John Cusack I think. Personally I don?t think I look anything like either of them.
1. One night at a drive-in cinema, 2. Me animating, 3. Jimmy Stewart & Family II, 4. Diane Lane, 5. Kramer vs. Kramer, 6. Imperial Stormtrooper, 7. "blown away", 8. no country for old men, 9. "Yeah, well. The Dude abides.", 10. Primero hay que colocar la lima de forma que est? a mano para luego, 11. kate beckinsale, 12. Take me and dry the rain.

Diane Lane stars as Adrienne Willis, a woman with her life in chaos who retreats to the tiny coastal town of Rodanthe, in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, to tend to a friend?s inn for the weekend.
Here she hopes to find the tranquility she so desperately needs to rethink the conflicts surrounding her ? a wayward husband who has asked to come home, and a teenaged daughter who resents her every decision. Almost as soon as Adrienne gets to Rodanthe, a major storm is forecast and a guest named Dr. Paul Flanner (Gere) arrives. The only guest at the inn, Flanner is not on a weekend escape but rather is there to face his own crisis of conscience. Now, with the storm closing in, the two turn to each other for comfort and, in one magical weekend, set in motion a life-changing romance that will resonate throughout the rest of their lives.

After the screening of the Coen Brother's new film, No Country for Old Men, I looked over the balcony and saw the stars chatting it up with people. So I took a picture of the tops of their heads :)
